How To Change Your Phone Number on Facebook From Desktop
This guide is for changing your mobile number on Facebook from your desktop computer.
First, open Facebook and click on your profile image; from the dropdown menu, click on “settings and privacy“.
From the new page, click on “security and login”.
Now on the new page, you need to find “Two-factor authentication” as in the image below.
Under the option that says “Use two-factor authentication” click on edit.
Now Facebook will ask you to enter your password; this step is necessary to continue.
After the previous step now, you will find your old mobile phone number listed in your account; click on “manage” then “use a different phone number”
A new window will prompt where you can enter your new phone number, so enter the number and click continue.
Facebook will now send a verification SMS to your number; wait a few minutes to receive the code.
After you receive the code, type it in the prompt window and click continue.
Everything should be fine, and your new number is registered in your Facebook account.
